Volunteers who would like to help collect signatures on the petition to refer HB1234 to the November ballot are urged to do so as people gather for area high school graduations.
The graduation dates and times are as follows:
May 13, Sunday, De Smet, 1:30 pm
May 19, Saturday, Sioux Valley, Volga, 2 pm
May 19, Saturday, Arlington, 2 pm
May 20, Sunday, Elkton, afternoon (still need to confirm time)
May 27, Sunday, Brookings, afternoon (still need to confirm time)
If you would like to help, please go to this link and sign up for a time slot(s). To collect signatures, please be at the location 30-45 minutes before the ceremony is to begin. If you need petition forms and guidelines, contact us.
